My name is Mrs. Beth Trivelli and I am excited to start my third year as the principal of Crestwood Primary School for the 2012-13 school year. I am very pleased to report that Crestwood Primary School has been rated "Excellent" by the Ohio Department of Education!
I am honored to have the opportunity to help impact the lives of your children. I have been an early childhood educator for the last twenty-seven years. The past eleven years I have been a coordinator for staff development and a teacher in the Kent City Schools. I was one of the first National Board Certified teachers in the state of Ohio. I have a special education degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a masters in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. I earned my EdS. in Educational Administration from Kent State University in 2009. I am also an adjunct professor for Kent State University in Early Childhood Education.
I live in Kent, Ohio with my husband and two beautiful children. My son, Michael (21) is a senior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. My daughter, Angela (18) is a freshmen at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. Angela is a professional ballet dancer with Ballet Theater of Ohio.
I am looking forward to a fantastic school year at Crestwood Primary School! The staff has planned an outstanding year of activities to expand our use of technology to enhance the learning of each and every child.
