The Crestwood Local Schools Transportation system includes 38 buses, 4 vans and 1 shop truck. All buses passed the State Highway Patrol’s annual inspection, again this year. Most busses are equipped with video cameras to protect the staff, students and the district’s investments.
Daily bus runs include:
- 20 high school runs
- 20 elementary school / private school runs
- 1 mid-day school runs
- 4.5 special education school runs
This adds up to approximately 2,025 miles traveled every school day. In addition, each year our buses transport to approximately 650 extra trips, including athletic events. These buses travel over 33,000 miles. The total distance covered each school year transporting students to and from school and on athletic/extra trips comes to approximately 400,000 miles.
Bus schedules are mailed to parents/guardians two weeks before school starts. If you have any questions concerning bus routes or schedules, please contact the Transportation Office at: 330.274.2776 or fax us at 330.274.3706. We coordinate 10 different school calendars and schedules to make the service we offer flow smoothly.
The Crestwood Schools understand the importance of the safety of our students. Crestwood bus drivers are always working on general knowledge and safety skills.
