Crestwood State Report Card Best Ever

The final results of the state's "Local Report Card" for school districts indicates that Crestwood achieved its best report card ever. The district as a whole met 24 of 26  (92%) possible state academic standards and received a rating of "effective." This is the second highest of  five  rating categories used by the State of Ohio. Districts must meet at least 25 standards to receive the top rating of "excellent."

Crestwood High School achieved a rating of "excellent" for the  sixth straight year and once again has met every possible indicator on its report card.  We extend a special congratulations to staff and students at Crestwood Intermediate  School for achieving their first-ever rating of "excellent! "  CIS students met every possible state academic indicator driven, in part, by  a dramatic 24% improvement in fifth grade math scores over the past two years. Crestwood Middle School was rated "effective" meeting 7 of 9 possible academic standards. CMS's  "performance index,' which measures overall cumulative student achievement on state tests was its highest ever. The district's performance index of 98.9 is also a "best ever" result, falling just shy of the required score of 100 which would bring the "excellent" rating.
