The goal for this activity is to create a circle graph based on different categories of a population. Once your data is collected, you will convert your findings into percents and then into degrees in order to divide up a circle graph.
Directions:
1. Using cars in a parking lot as the population, each group will categorize them using different criteria (i.e.: Color, Make, Type, Tires)
2. Count and record the number of cars in each of your categories.
3. Find the percent value of each category.
4. Find the degree of each region that the categories would be in on a circle graph.
5. Make a neat and well drawn circle graph of your data. Use colors.
