Make-Up Work:

Upon returning from an absence, check the homework board for the assignment you are required to complete. You can find extra worksheets and overhead notes in the make-up folders. Place any un-graded assignments in the folder. You will have ONE WEEK to make up your missed work. Any assignment not turned in at the time of collection while you have been present will receive a MINUS ONE. There will be a line drawn on the homework board to mark when an assignment becomes too late to receive credit.

 

Correcting Your Work:

For each assignment that you attempt solo, you may correct to earn back half of the points you missed. You must show ALL STEPS required for getting the correct solution. You may ask anyone in the room for help, but be careful not to copy someone else’s work. If you are found to be cheating on a correction, you while forfeit this privilege for THE REST OF THE YEAR!!!

 

Practice Good, Ethical Habits:

If you talk during a quiz or test, you have decided to end your test at that moment. If you talk a second time, your test will not be scored and you will receive a ZERO until you arrange for a make-up test to be given at an after school detention. You should NOT have another student’s work on your desk at any time. You will be given a ZERO on any assignment where you are discovered using another student’s work.
