My name is Steve Kerst and this is my 7th year with Crestwood Local Schools. I was the Middle School's 6th grade Social Studies teacher for my first four years and this will be my third year teaching 8th grade Science and first year teaching 8th grade Social Studies. Also, I am the head boys varsity outdoor Track & Field coach in the Spring. I love my job and could not envision myself doing anything else! I'm originally from Green, Ohio and graduated from Green High School in 1999. I attended the University of Akron from 1999 through 2004 and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Level Education, specializing in Science & Social Studies. Also, I received my Master's Degree from the University of Akron in 2012, specializing in "Foundations of Instructional Technology.". I live in Stow, Ohio with my wife, Melissa, who is the Intervention Specialist for the 6th graders at Crestwood Middle School.
